SAS actively collaborates with various sectors in the implementation of the Reading Program. These partnerships allow us to reach across the Philippines to foster children's literacy.

Department of Education
SAS and the DepEd work closely to advocate reading appreciation in Philippine public schools and to ensure the proper implementation of the Reading Program by teachers and principals. With the program's integration into the curricula of the participating schools, the DepEd has assured program sustainability throughout the years.

Local Government Units
The LGU provides funding as well as logistical resources, making venues, public roads and officials available to support the Reading Program.

Development and Granting Foundations
SAS accepts funding from local and international foundations to support the Reading Program and various other special projects.

The Private Sector
Corporations and other private institutions sponsor teacher training, storybook donations and the entire Reading Program implementation for elementary public schools. SAS also has special literacy projects with select corporate partners, such as the building of HSBC READiscovery Centers, and the quarterly publication of Star Teacher Magazine in cooperation with Summit Media, which is distributed free for all public school teachers throughout the country.
